I am honored to announce that I am helping to raise awareness and funds for ANGEL AID CARES, a non-profit organization dedicated to sourcing research, relief and inspiration for mothers of children with rare diseases.
There are more people with rare diseases than AIDS and cancer combined ~ 350 million people worldwide and half are children. A third of these children won’t see their 5th Birthday. Even with all the scientific advancements made in recent decades, there are still no cures for the nearly 8,000 rare diseases and only 5% have treatments.
The burden on caregivers is unimaginable. Rare Mothers suffer from isolation, depression and helplessness ~ particularly since COVID-19.
ANGEL AID is currently supporting Rare Mothers across nine (9) countries and working to provide free crisis-response services to over 5,000 Rare Mothers next year.
It costs approximately $100 for a 30 minute crisis-response call with a mental health professional. Can you help us reach more mothers by donating today? Every donation makes a difference.

ANGEL AID CARES provides support, crisis hotlines, retreats, and seminars for the mothers of the 350 million people worldwide living with rare disease. Sadly there is no cure for any of the 7000+ rare diseases and only 5% have treatments. One third of rare children will not live to see their 5th birthday. The reality of daily long-term caregiving, especially in the time of Covid is unimaginable. ANGEL AID CARES provides empathetic support for mothers who need it most.
