The People Around You

Rare mothers.

Yesterday, we spoke about the five most important people we spent time with and how they helped us be who we are.  How do your children contribute to you being you?  And how do your friends and other family members, through their unconditionality and honesty remind you of your greatest strengths and weaknesses? Being reminded of what you're good at and consoled in the bad moments makes for true love and growth and guess what?  Covid didn't stop any of  the relationships discussed in our workshop from being less strong, even with the absence of in person gatherings.

As you head into the weekend, I want to throw a prompt your way and it is this- What’s in front of you in your own life that’s especially difficult that you’re working on to improve?  I hope reading this post gives you a moment to think about that thing and also think about how to make it better. There's some great stuff that comes out of change and change happens with small, continual dedication to a goal.  May you find time for one little step and may you have a wonderful weekend!

Join us for Journaling Self-Care on Thursday’s at 11:00 am PST / 1:00. pm CST through the end of June. Here is the link to join!
